Recurring Dreams
I have this recurring dream that is making me crazy. I'm at the Sugarbush horse show in Waitsfield, VT and my horse is always in it's stall when I get there. I try and try to get it tacked up and take it out to ride, but it always acts REALLY crazy, kicking, biting, rearing.....and sometimes it gets hurt and starts bleeding. Then, at some point in this process, it always gets loose and takes off across the show grounds. I've gotten the horse backa few times, but most of the time I don't. And in some of the dreams, there are really intense storms that blow through. Anyway, they always leave me with this awful feeling when I wake up because they are so disturbing. I have no idea what they mean...???
On another note....is it fall yet? It's my favorite time of year. Sweaters, boots, jackets, scarves.....and I think some of it stems back to the fall finals.....was always my favorite and most exciting time of year, personally and competitively. I miss the focus and drive that I had with my riding.

Moving
So...I'm really struggling with this whole question of moving. Troy and I spent the whole day today fixing up the master bath and one wall in our bedroom. It looks so good now, but it's bittersweet because we are fixing it up to put it on the market, possible for someone else to enjoy. I love this little house, even though I am not crazy about living in Nashville. I don't know.....I think the more time that goes by, I am going to question myself on this whole move thing more and more. The more time that goes by the more I'm wondering if maybe I could be okay staying here in for a little while longer. But, then I remember what a great opportunity waits for me in Phoenix, and I stuggle with the choice.
On another note, I test drove the new Volswagen GTI this weekend, and I think I'm in love. And that's a lot for me to say because I never get excited about cars. It's so cute....check it out...I love the plaid seats!

Random Thoughts
Today was a tired day.
If work doesn't pick-up soon, I may go completely crazy.
I really hate anything uncertain or wishy-washy. You either go "balls to the wall", or you back out. Anything inbetween that seems weak to me. I'd rather back out than remain in a state of weakness.
Why does the grass in our front yard refuse to stay healthy?
Has Tracey had her baby yet?
I really want to plan a trip back to NYC.
Lucy needs a good home to go to. (but I'll miss her)
I'm trying to save money right now and fight every urge I have to go shopping. So far, so good.
I'd really like to trade in my Exploder for a Toyota Prius.
I can't believe I haven't change my name to Milner yet. Holy procrastination.
Another long day at work tomorrow.

My baby Chloe is being put to sleep today. That's a really nice way of thinking about it, huh? She is just going into a nice deep sleep. I'm so sad. She was my first baby. Here I am, sitting at my desk at work crying. I don't get to say bye to her, although if I was home, it would probably be a thousand times harder. Even though she was such a cranky pants at times, she was such a good dog and I will miss her a lot. My little peensy-princess.

haha, ok, I speak for myself. I'd like to think I'm cooler than an old married fart, but am I really? I never go out on the weekends anymore....so forget week nights. I'd rather stay home and watch tv, slash a movie. Every Sunday has become Cleaning Day, I find vacuuming to be therapeutic, I don't sleep in as late anymore and we have barbeques with the neighbors. Yikes.
I need to get out more often.

Welcome to my blog
The most magical day of my life. I love you sweety. May 27, 2006.I haven't kept a journal in years. But I used to love journaling. It got my thoughts out of my head and onto paper.
Now I'd like to share my thoughts with my friends. And maybe it will help us keep in touch a little better, since we are scattered all across the country.
